Elvis entered studio B in Nashville on March 20 and 21, 1960 and already recorded Stuck On You and Fame And Fortune so that RCA could start the press because the fans were really waiting for new recordings of their idol. This Timex Special was recorded a few days later. Namely on March 26, 1960 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida, and broadcasted on TV for the first time in the States on May 12, 1960. After two years of driving tanks in Germany, Elvis was back where he belonged: on a stage for his fans! On April 3 and 4, 1960, Elvis returned to Nashville to record a few more songs and in this way have enough songs for the album Elvis Is Back. At the end of April, Elvis already started recording the film GI Blues. Elvis was back in business!!

So on this DVD-release the full Frank Sinatra Timex Special to make our collection a bit more complete.
