Kevan's work on 2004's Elvis At SUN (BMG) was so good, so definitive, he's already in the hall of fame forevermore -- some of the most important recordings of the century, presented in the best-ever quality. The only thing that might top Elvis At SUN is what he does with the FTD SUN box. That will include the original, 'dry' SUN 209, and hopefully a whole lot more.

Received my copies of the three new FTDs yesterday and while the other two are nice (Clambake & I Found my Thrill) the outstanding CD has to be the 'Elvis Presley' Classic Album. I haven't stopped playing it since I received it, great artwork, an excellent track list and as I would expect from Budd the sound is top draw.

I have received them today [all 3 of them AND Let It Roll too] I have to say, the little interview on EP is excellent! I never heard it, and the sound is better than heard before from the 50's [nice questions about his pink suit !] The artwork is for the first time the true original crop of the cover, for the first time used since the original from '56 !!! Excellent !!!!

I wasn't too interested in this album before the FTD version came out. Never gave it much of a chance, I guess. Now it's one of my all-time favourite FTD releases. I've played it so much it's ridiculous and I still can't get enough.
